Our retreats are designed to include two ceremonies with entheogens, but the holistic experience of our retreats also includes preparation and integration of the psychedelic experience, as well as relaxation sessions, mindful yoga, cultural activities, and wellness activities.
How long does the retreat last?
Psychedelic retreats last 7 days and 6 nights and include two traditional ceremonies with psychedelics.
How long do the effects of psychedelics last?
The ceremony with the use of entheogens (psychedelics) lasts 4 to 6 hours.
Are psychedelic retreats legal?
We only offer retreats that are 100% legal according to local Mexican law. That is why our partner NIERIKA MX is the organization that ensures that the experience is safe and legal.
How many participants are there in each retreat?
Our retreats are exclusive for a personalized and unforgettable experience, which is why the maximum number of participants per retreat is 6 guests.
How many preparation sessions do you offer for psychedelic retreats?
We offer up to 4 preparation sessions for our retreats, the last one onsite the day before the first ceremony with entheogens (psychedelics).
How many integration sessions do you offer after the retreat?
For us, integration is as important as the ceremony itself, which is why we offer up to 10 integration sessions, of which 2-3 are onsite after the ceremonies, and the rest can be scheduled with the NIERIKA MX team of coaches and therapists in the 3 months following the retreat.
Is it safe to travel to Mexico?
Our team at Nierika MX takes all safety measures and follows the recommendations of the authorities to ensure that the experience and the trip are safe. While there is violence in the country, it is related to fights between criminal groups and is concentrated in regions far from the location of our retreats.
What psychedelic substances do you offer at your retreats?
Due to the current legal framework in Mexico, we only offer retreats with two entheogens: peyote (mescaline) and mushrooms (psilocybin).
Can anyone participate in the retreats you offer?
Since the use of psychedelics carries risks to physical and mental health, we conduct an assessment and screening process to identify whether the candidate can be invited to our retreat. This is done with the intention of providing the best experience and reducing unnecessary risks.
Are there any health conditions that contraindicate the experience with psychedelics?
People with mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia are not candidates for psychedelic retreats. Likewise, our retreat in Real de Catorce is located 2,700 meters above sea level, so some heart and blood pressure conditions must be monitored.
What are the accommodations like at the retreat?
We offer a luxurious and comfortable experience in the magical towns of Mexico, as well as food that is specially designed to provide a magical and unforgettable experience.

What is a private retreat?
A private retreat is an intentional getaway, either alone or in a small group, designed to rest, reflect, and rejuvenate away from daily routines and distractions. It is a personalized experience, taking place in peaceful, secluded, or natural settings, in a high-end villa with the aim of fostering personal, spiritual, or mental growth. Our retreats may include the use of empathogens or entheogens (psychedelics).
Can I choose the type of activities for the private retreat?
Yes, our private retreats are “à la carte.” With the help of our team, you can choose the type of activities you want to do, as well as the time for self-reflection, integration, and self-care, once you have established your goal.
Can I choose the country for the retreat?
Yes, but if you want to include the psychedelic experience or the use of empathogens, it can only be done in Mexico, the Netherlands, or Portugal, as our experiences are 100% legal.
